Single family homes

On November 18, 2006 NOAHH started building the first Habitat elder-double on the corner of Roman and Bartholomew. Five New Orleans style doubles or duplexes have been built as rental units for elderly Master Musicians in Residence of New Orleans.

These elderly musicians will provide a rich resource for the younger residents of the Village and the surrounding communities.

The music and musicians of New Orleans have always been the city’s heart and soul.  Your support of New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village is the best way to ensure that my home town lifts itself from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina with heart and soul intact.- Harry Connick, Jr.
